On the roadmap: Exciting new capabilities!
New features
- Rules engine: New filter options
You can now easily filter rules that do not include a product query condition for a specific attribute or attribute value.
This feature makes it easier to identify rules missing a particular condition, helping you manage and refine your rule set more efficiently. Please see the Help documentation for more information.
- Completeness: Support for product type-specific requirements
ℹ️ Available in the Test environment ℹ️
We’re introducing support for defining completeness requirements by product type, an enhancement particularly valuable for customers using variant modeling with inheritance of product data and assets. This will give you greater flexibility and precision in managing completeness across your product assortment:
- Product overview
ℹ️ Available in the Test environment ℹ️
The existing Details tab is being replaced with a new Overview tab that consolidates key product information into a single, streamlined view.
This redesigned layout makes it easier for users to quickly assess a product’s status and spot any missing or incomplete data at a glance:
- AI agent
ℹ️ Available in the Test environment ℹ️
We’re excited to announce an upcoming chatbot-style AI feature that will let you interact with the PIM using plain, everyday language - no complex query building required. In the first release, you’ll be able to apply product filters simply by typing instructions to the AI agent, such as “Show me all products missing images”.
This feature is designed to make searching and filtering faster, more intuitive, and accessible to all users, regardless of technical expertise. Future updates will expand its capabilities beyond filtering, enabling even more powerful ways to explore and manage your product data.
Improvements
- Attributes: Support for duplicate select values in UI
The UI now supports duplicate values for single-select, multi-select, and dictionary attributes - aligning with existing functionality already available via the API. This allows for more flexibility when managing select-type attribute values directly through the interface. - Context fallback: Highlighting enabled by default
The Context fallback highlighting feature is now enabled by default for all users, making it easier to identify fallback values in the UI.
Users who prefer not to use this feature can opt out via their User profile. - PPE setup: Validation added for single-select attribute filtering
Validation has been added to the PPE setup when filtering products by single-select attribute values. Users will now receive a clear warning if no value is selected.
Fixes
- Products grid: Image enlargement
Resolved an issue where, in some cases, enlarging an image from the products grid did not work when loading a saved view tied to a non-default context.
This functionality now works as expected across all contexts and saved views.
On the roadmap: Exciting new capabilities!

- Shopify connector
A brand new integration is on its way, making it easy to manage the synchronization of product data from Bluestone PIM to one or more Shopify stores.
