New features

• Edit attributes with preview ⚠️ Only available in the Test environment ⚠️
  This feature replaces the deprecated version of 'Edit attributes'. It allows you to update a set of products in bulk, based on information about which attributes are shared between the products. Please see the user documentation for details.
  
  
  
  
• Rules engine: We have introduced the possibility of setting up rules to automatically Change product status, to ensure that your products are published/unpublished as soon as possible.

• User groups: Can be utilized for grouping users with the same set of roles together. By setting up groups, access management will be more efficient. Tasks can also be assigned to a whole user group allowing teams to have joint responsibility. Please see the user documentation for details.
  
  
  
  
• Products: The process of archiving products has been overhauled:
  • Published products to be archived must be set to status 'Draft', synced, and then archived.
  • 'Archived' is no longer a separate status. Archived products will have status 'Draft' and be presented with a grey pencil icon. These products can still  be found by using the 'Browse archived products' function.
  • 'Archive' and 'Unarchive' are now separate actions that can be found in the menu.
  
  

Improvements/changes

• User groups: When duplicating a group, the new group is now inactive by default.
• Sync (new version): In the System monitor, the 'Initiated by' field will now contain info when triggered via MAPI.
• Sync (new version): Data from other services (metadata providers) is now provided in the public API (PAPI).
• Categories: Improved UI performance when browsing the catalog structure.
• Products: An enlarged product thumbnail will now keep its placement.
• Products: It's now possible to click a related product's name to open it directly:
  
  
• Category - Product sorter: Sorting products within a category will now be possible if the category contains a maximum of 500 products. Sorting is deactivated by default:
  
  
  
  
• Selection dropdown: Improved the sort order when searching to place more relevant terms at the top.
• PPE: Ensured name, number and product type are available as filtering criteria by default.
• Rules engine: Users will now be asked for confirmation when changing a rule.
• Products: Increased the visibility of how many products will be/have been selected.
  
  

Fixes

• Products: Archived products are no longer connected to deleted categories.
• Query builder: Fixed an issue where the selection dropdown only displayed a single line at a time.
• PPE: Ensured users are not asked for confirmation when a change has been reverted when editing a product variant.
• Products: Ensured that a change to a bundle size is detected as a change that needs to be synced/published.
• Products: Restricted users should no longer see an error message when working on categories for a product.
